Our Spring Term co-curricular activities offered an action-packed schedule, filled with opportunities from codebreaking and podcasting to fencing, taekwondo, air rifle shooting, athletics, and art. Our middle school pupils had an unforgettable time on their ski trip to Austria over the Easter break. It was fantastic to watch their confidence grow on the slopes throughout the week. One of the highlights of the trip was the exciting sledging races down the mountain. Our Year 7 pupils delivered an incredible performance of Return to the Forbidden Planet this week. The crew of the Starship Albatross took us on a thrilling space adventure in this sci-fi production, inspired by Shakespeare’s The Tempest and infused with 1950s rock ‘n’ roll. This week, we are proud to support Neurodiversity Celebration Week, a global initiative that challenges stereotypes and misconceptions about neurological differences. Throughout the week, we will be engaging our pupils in discussions about neurodiversity, helping them to better understand and appreciate the strengths that come with different ways of thinking and learning. Additionally, our Learning Enrichment department is hosting a Parent Support Group, providing a relaxed and informal space for parents interested in neurodiversity to connect and share experiences.
