Emergency Contacts
  • Please provide two further emergency contacts (eg grandparent, neighbour, friend).

Emergency contacts will only be contacted by the school should we not be able to make contact with either parent/guardian identified above in the event of an emergency. At least one of these contacts must be local.

  • Pre-Plated Meals

If your child has a severe life-threatening allergy / anaphylactic shock, our caterers recommend that a freshly prepared pre-plated meal is provided, as this is the safest way to minimise any risk.

Whilst we can provide meals which do not include nominated allergens, we cannot guarantee that dishes do not contain traces of allergens as they will be stored and prepared in the same areas as nominated allergens. There is a risk of cross contamination on display counters, particularly self-service areas such as salad bars and dessert counters. Please be aware that the catering team do not use nuts in any of the food prepared and served; however, they are unable to guarantee that dishes/products served are totally free from nuts/nut derviatives, due to the use of precautionary allergy statements such as 'May contain' which are used by suppliers.

Meals provided to your child will be prepared in the same areas as nominated allergens. There is a risk of cross contamination on display counters, partiuclarly self-service areas such as salad bars and dessert counters.

  • Offering of 'May contain' and 'Traces of'

  • Many of the food products that we use in the Catering Department carry a 'May contain' or 'Traces of' statement. We DO NOT allow allergen pupils to consume these if their allergen is present.

  • Dietary Disclaimers & Consents

Our Catering Team require your child's allergen information and photo to be available to them, and be displayed in serving areas, to enable them to check allergy information and assist with the correct food provision.

Photography & Filming Consent
  • At Feltonfleet, we are very proud of our school and of the many achievements our pupils make across our diverse curriculum, and we value the importance of celebrating these as a school community. We regularly capture photographs or video footage of pupils and use these positively within our printed and digital publications to showcase their relative successes and learning outcomes. These images may also be used in external promotion of the school, both within our own publications, e.g. the prospectus (in both hard copy and electronic form), the school’s website, the school’s social media accounts (including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram); and in external, relevant publications as part of wider marketing activity, e.g. local press, adverts in magazines, poster campaigns etc.

In line with data protection legislation, we wish to be transparent about how we process images and video footage of your child and to do so only where we can demonstrate we are entitled to do so. Please indicate below if you understand how the images and video footage will be used and whether you are happy to consent, for the time being, to your child’s image being used in this way. You may withdraw your consent at any time in the future by emailing marketing@feltonfleet.co.uk. This will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out by the school before you withdraw your consent and images/video footage which have already been published cannot be withdrawn.

Our policy is not to publish a child’s full name (and any other identifiable information) alongside their photograph or within published video, unless specific and additional permission to this form has been sought.

For further information about how we use your data please see our Privacy Notice.
