New boarders enjoy all the fun of the fair

This week, Feltonfleet Knights welcomed first time boarders from Years 4 to 6 for a Fun Fair-themed Boarding Trial Night.

After settling in and making beds in the dorms, pupils were treated to a fairground supper, complete with hot dogs, fries and toffee apples.  Once changed into casual clothes and following phone calls home, the pupils made their way down to the Sports Hall to enjoy fairground stalls including Tin can alley, Ball in the bucket and Hook-a-duck before being treated to some home-made candy floss.

Activities over, the pupils took showers before settling down in the family room with popcorn to watch a film.  In the morning, pupils enjoyed a hearty cooked breakfast before packing up all of their belongings ready for the school day.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to all the Boarding Tutors who worked extremely hard throughout the night and to the Holroyd Howe catering team who went above and beyond in creating food for the evening.
