Block PlayTeaching and Learning at Feltonfleet remains at the forefront of educational practice because our staff continually engage in Continuous Professional Development across a range of sectors.

During recent years, our Early Years learning environments and routines have been reconsidered, reconfigured and reinvigorated with regard to current educational research.

Amanda Burton Smith with Nursery pupilOne of the influences evident is that of the work of the Froebel Partnership with whom some of our staff have been training.

Amanda Burton Smith, Head of Pre-Prep recently contributed a guest blog to the Froebel Partnership Website which can be found at Guest blog | The Froebel Partnership.

Our Year 7 pupils delivered an incredible performance of Return to the Forbidden Planet this week. The crew of the Starship Albatross took us on a thrilling space adventure in this sci-fi production, inspired by Shakespeare’s The Tempest and infused with 1950s rock ‘n’ roll. Their talent and teamwork were truly outstanding. Well done, Year 7! #FeltonfleetYear7 #FeltonfleetPerformingArts

This week, we are proud to support Neurodiversity Celebration Week, a global initiative that challenges stereotypes and misconceptions about neurological differences. Throughout the week, we will be engaging our pupils in discussions about neurodiversity, helping them to better understand and appreciate the strengths that come with different ways of thinking and learning. Additionally, our Learning Enrichment department is hosting a Parent Support Group, providing a relaxed and informal space for parents interested in neurodiversity to connect and share experiences. By celebrating neurodiversity, we are nurturing a culture of acceptance, inclusion, and understanding - helping all our pupils to embrace differences and champion each other's strengths. #FeltonfleetWhereIndividualsReallyMatter #NeurodiversityCelebrationWeek #NCW
